Symptoms of Fever
- Fever is a higher than normal body temperature above 98.6°F. In most cases, having a fever temperature is a medical symptom of the body’s natural response to infection, disease or illness. Fever symptoms may include chills while the fever is climbing. Headache, diarrhea, runny nose or sore throat may indicate flu symptoms or other viral disease infection. Call your doctor for fevers of 102°F lasting more than three days or if the fever temperature increases after two days.
